“My painting process is dynamic with constant tension; the outcome can sometimes be more about what I remove than what I add. I play with elements on the canvas surface—blurring, obscuring, obliterating, excavating, reclaiming—until I am satisfied. I connect with each canvas as it evolves, and I hope that others will also find connection. I hope my art will bring joy to others just as the act of artmaking does to me!”
